Planned Power Outage November 11

Facilities Management would like to notify the campus of a planned power outage on Tuesday, November 11, as part of the Solar Array construction project. This project will enable the campus to produce up to 4 MW of sustainable solar electricity to meet the university’s current needs, support ongoing sustainability initiatives, and reduce the risk of unplanned outages in the future.

Flag at Half-staff

The university's current flag protocol requires the Vice President for Administration & Finance to notify the campus when the flag is lowered to half-staff.

The flag has been lowered to half-staff to honor the memory of former Vice President Richard Cheney. The flag will remain at half-staff until the day of interment, which has not been established.

Every fall, the California State University Chancellor’s Office issues a memorandum that serves as the call for campus recommendations for the award of honorary doctoral degrees granted by the Board of Trustees of the California State University. Sonoma State received that memorandum on Friday, October 10.
