Giving Day 2026

Thursday, February 19, 2026, 2:10pm

TO: Campus Community
FR: Adam Jarman, AVP, Development

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, Giving Day returns to Sonoma State. Now in its fifth year, Giving Day is an opportunity for our entire community to come together and transform the future of Sonoma State. Over the course of 24 hours, alumni, donors, parents, faculty, staff, students, and community members will participate in the celebration by supporting and/or sharing with others what they love about Sonoma State.

In 2024, our most recent Giving Day, 800 donors supported 150 causes with a total of more than $400,000. The impact of this generosity is tangible.

Are you interested in raising funds for your department, initiative, club, or organization? Now through March 26, you can sign up to participate in Giving Day 2026. It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness and donations to advance your cause.

If you are interested in participating in this year's campaign or want additional information, please fill out this interest form. If you're not sure and would like additional information, we will be hosting the first Giving Day strategy session on Tuesday, February 24, for the campus community to learn more. This is your chance to learn what Giving Day is all about and how you can be successful in raising funds for your initiative.
