This is to inform you that the threat actor has escalated its attack on Instructure. As a result, Canvas is currently offline for all three SFBRN campuses, and we are learning that several other CSU Canvas instances are also impacted.

As part of the CHRS transition, CSU Learn will be temporarily unavailable.

What is happening?
CSU Learn will be offline beginning May 6 at 5:00 p.m. through May 13. During this time, CSU Learn and all resources within the system will be completely inaccessible.

How will this affect me?
While CSU Learn is offline, users will not be able to access training courses or related resources.

MySSU will be unavailable from 5 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026, to 8 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2026. During this downtime, the Chancellor’s Office will integrate Sonoma State University into the CSU systemwide Common Human Resources System (CHRS).
