Key Features of Strategic Questioning in Engagement
OPHD Center for Restorative Practices' Monthly Restorative Communication Lab Series continues with this Zoom learning session. Participants will learn how to master Strategic Questioning (SQ), which is designed to create new knowledge by synthesizing unfamiliar information from that which is already empowering the ownership of new information so that it remains with the person answering, thereby facilitating their own responses to necessary changes and releasing blocks to new ideas. Participants will also examine the two levels of the Strategic Questioning process, including how to ask Visioning and Change questions to co-create new paths forward while avoiding defensive questions like "why" or "yes/no".
