Summer Access to Campus Recreation Facilities

Summer is here! Time to burn off that stress from the spring semester on the courts and in the weight room! Much like the rest of campus, our operations change with the seasons, and we wanted to provide you with an update on the summer schedule and how to connect with Campus Recreation.
Campus Recreation summer facility hours:
Monday-Friday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.*
Saturday-Sunday: Closed
Students taking classes over the summer should not have any interruption in their membership. Additionally, SSU’s employee benefit, which offers faculty and staff access to Campus Recreation, remains in place during the summer. Please visit our RecPortal for information about services and membership offerings.
Our standard hours will resume beginning Saturday, Aug. 22, 2026.
*Please note: The Campus Recreation Pool, Climbing Wall and Outdoor Resource Center are closed during the summer.
