Additional Opportunity for Faculty

Lightning Talks | 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. | Ballrooms in the Student Center
Faculty are also invited to participate in Lightning Talks - short, engaging presentations that give prospective students a fun introduction to SSU’s majors and the academic opportunities they can explore here. Details on how to participate will be shared soon, so stay tuned!

Why Your Participation Matters

Seawolf Discovery Day is one of our key student recruitment events, and showcasing the full Sonoma State experience takes participation from across campus. A conversation with a faculty member, staff member, or student can help a prospective student discover a major, program, resource, or community they didn’t know existed and help them begin to picture themselves as a Seawolf.

Throughout the day, students and families will explore campus, attend presentations, take tours, and learn about academic and student-life opportunities. A full schedule will be added to the Seawolf Discovery Day webpage in the coming weeks.

Thank you for helping us welcome the next generation of Seawolves and show them the breadth, energy, and community that make Sonoma State special.

We hope you’ll join us on October 3!

Go Seawolves!
