The City of Rohnert Park and Sonoma State University are excited to welcome the community to the fourth annual Juneteenth Luncheon! The luncheon will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, June 19 at the Rohnert Park Community Center. This event promises to be a meaningful afternoon of reflection, celebration, unity, and joy.
As we come together to honor the significance of Juneteenth, we warmly invite you, your friends, and your family to join us for this special occasion. Guests will enjoy a lunch catered by Everett and Jones BBQ, a beloved Black-owned business known for its incredible food and community roots.
In addition to lunch, the program will celebrate the achievements and contributions of Black community members in Sonoma County. During the event, we will recognize two distinguished Black individuals whose leadership and impact continue to inspire us all.
We are also honored to feature a spoken-word performance by Poetic Activist Porsche Veu, along with a rendition of the Black National Anthem performed by Skylaer Palacios.
We are committed to making this celebration welcoming and accessible to everyone, which is why admission is completely free. However, because seating is limited, advanced registration is required. Free on-site child care for children ages 3–10 will also be available and includes lunch. To register for the luncheon and child care, please click here: https://bit.ly/RPJuneteenth2026
