ITS Incident Identified: Systemwide Login Issues

Dear Campus Community,

At 9:47 a.m. today, the Chancellor’s Office (CO) reported systemwide login issues with
Single Sign-On and SSL Certificates. An incident response team at the CO has been
formed, and SFBRN ITS is actively monitoring their progress.

What's Happening
The following services have been identified as unavailable:

• Financial Data Warehouse
• Common Financial System (CFS)
• Human Resources (CHRS)
• Campus Solutions (CS)
• CSU Learn
• DUO MFA
• PageUP
• Zoom
• CSUBUY
• Concur
• Cisco AnyConnect

Why
The cause is unknown at this time, but another email will be sent with more information
when it becomes available.

Who Is Affected
Staff and Faculty who use the affected systems, including Student Assistants.

What To Do
Monitor your email for future updates.

Next Steps
We do not have a resolution ETA at this time.

Updates will be provided at least every 4 hours, with a summary update at the close of
business. Any significant status updates or workarounds will be reported immediately.
