Tuesday, February 3, 2026, 3:31pm

TO: All Employees
FR: Dr. Khou Yang-Vigil, Executive Director, Center for Academic Access and Student Enrichment (CAASE)

Dear SSU Colleagues:

The Center for Academic Access and Student Enrichment (CAASE) warmly invites you to attend our CAASE Open House on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Schulz 1119 (first floor of the University Library).

This open house is an opportunity to connect with CAASE staff, learn more about our departments and services, and explore ways we can continue to collaborate in support of student access, equity, and success. CAASE serves as a resource hub for students through the Educational Opportunity Program, Military and Veteran Resource Center, Project Rebound, Seawolf Scholars, and TRIO Student Support Services. The purpose of CAASE is to foster academic success, community, and personal growth, particularly for students from historically underserved and underrepresented backgrounds.

We encourage faculty and staff to stop by at any point during the event to:

  • Meet the CAASE team
  • Learn more about our programs and the student populations we serve
  • Explore partnership opportunities to better support our students

Light refreshments will be available.

We hope you will join us and take this opportunity to learn more about the work of CAASE and how we collectively support student success at Sonoma State University.
