HUB Living Room Temporary Closure
Wednesday, September 30, 2026, 9:20amTO: Campus Community
FR: Tramaine Austin-Dillon, Senior Director for Strategic Initiatives & Senior Diversity Officer
Due to a leak in a fire sprinkler line, the HUB Living Room is temporarily closed while Facilities completes necessary repairs. All other spaces remain open and programming will continue.
While the Living Room is closed, two alternate entrances are available: the side doors near the IT desk and the double doors across from “HUB Hill.” Signage at both locations will direct visitors to the DREAM Center and Black Resource Center (BRC). These entrances also provide access to restrooms and other HUB spaces.
Printing services in the Living Room will also be unavailable during the closure. In the meantime, students are encouraged to print for free in the Schulz Library (1st Floor).
During this time, programming will remain flexible and may take place in other spaces within the HUB or at various locations across campus. Please follow @SSU.HUB on Instagram for the latest program and location updates.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as Facilities completes the necessary repairs. We will share an update when the Living Room reopens.
