FR: Tramaine Austin-Dillon, Senior Director, Strategic Institutional Initiatives & Senior Diversity Officer
Each year, Hispanic Heritage Month offers us an opportunity to celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic and Latine communities. Throughout the month, The HUB invites our campus community to celebrate, connect, and learn together through a variety of events and programs.
As part of this year’s celebration and our continued commitment as a Hispanic-Serving Institution, I invite you to join us for:
Somos Sonoma: Understanding HSI Servingness and Assessing Servingness
Featuring Dr. Gina Ann Garcia
Wednesday, October 14 | 10–11:30 a.m. | Ballroom A
Dr. Garcia, a leading scholar on Hispanic-Serving Institutions and servingness, will challenge us to think beyond HSI designation and consider what it means to become an institution that is truly serving. Using the Servingness 2.0 Framework, the keynote will explore how we can strengthen student success, belonging, and opportunities to thrive at Sonoma State.
I hope you will join us.
