The HUB (Honoring. Uniting. Building.) invites members of the Sonoma State University community to participate in virtual engagement sessions with the Twin Walls Mural Company to help shape a new community mural that will be installed in the HUB. The mural will be created on canvas and installed on wooden panels within the HUB space.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Associated Students (AS) for their generous funding support, which has made this mural project possible.
These sessions provide an opportunity to share ideas, themes, and feedback that will inform the mural’s design. Our goal is to ensure the mural reflects Sonoma State University, the HUB’s mission and values, and our commitment to supporting students from diverse backgrounds while fostering a strong sense of belonging.
Participants are encouraged to come ready to:
- Share words, images, or themes they would like represented
- Reflect on what belonging, community, and identity look like at SSU.
Please register for the session that best fits your role:
Student Session: March 9, 2-3 p.m.
Staff & Faculty Session: March 13, 2-3 p.m.
We anticipate the mural will be completed before the end of the semester, followed by a campus reveal celebration – please stay tuned for additional details.
We hope you will join us in shaping this meaningful addition to our campus community.
