FR: Chandra Holte, AVP for Human Resources and Trisha Ramos, Managing Director for Payroll/Benefits
As Sonoma State prepares for the implementation of the Common Human Resources System (CHRS), some HR-related transactions and systems will be temporarily paused from late April through mid-May 2026. These temporary pauses are necessary to support the transition to CHRS and ensure a smooth and accurate system conversion.
What to expect:
- HR-related transactions submitted after April 27, 2026 will be processed once services resume on May 13, 2026
- Certain systems, including time reporting and absence management, will be unavailable for a short period during the transition
- During this time, employees and managers may need to track time and absences manually
Time Labor and Absence Management
Training materials on how to enter, review and approve time and absences in CHRS will be available soon. In addition, open office hours will be offered beginning the week of May 18, 2026 to provide further support and answer questions.
We recognize that this transition may require some adjustment and appreciate your patience as we move to this new system.
