TO: Campus Community

FR: Stacey J. Bosick, Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs; Gerald L. Jones, Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students

Next week, Sonoma State University will launch the 2026 Campus Climate Survey, an opportunity for students, faculty and staff to share their experiences and help inform the future of our campus.

The survey will be open from April 7 through April 24, 2026, and takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete. You will receive a personalized email and link to the survey from Higher Education Data Sharing (HEDS) – sent on behalf of SSU by Tramaine Austin-Dillon. QR codes will also be posted on signs around campus for easy access.

The survey asks about experiences of belonging and inclusion, campus climate, and topics specific to our campus. This survey instrument was selected by a cross-campus advisory group of staff and faculty, alongside student voices. HEDS administers the survey to protect anonymity and allow us to compare our results with similar institutions.

Your participation is essential. The results will help us identify priorities and inform actions to strengthen a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all members of the Sonoma State community. A summary of findings will be shared with the campus community.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive a $5 SIP voucher and/or $75 in WolfBucks.

Learn more about the survey by visiting the 2026 Campus-Wide Climate Survey webpage.

Thank you in advance for your time and for contributing to this important project.
