Back to School Cookout August 21

President Michael E. Spagna and the University Leadership Team cordially invite every member of the Sonoma State community -- students, faculty, and staff -- to the Back to School Cookout from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday, August 21 on the Main Quad outside Stevenson Hall.

The cookout, part of the SSU Day of Celebration that includes the “Building Our Next Chapter Together” event and Faculty Convocation, is an opportunity to kick off the 2026-27 academic year with food, games, conversation, and community.
