2025 W-2 Wage and Tax Statement Now Available in Cal Employee Connect

Your State of California 2025 W-2, Wage and Tax Statement is now available in Cal Employee Connect (CEC). Employees who did not previously opt in to receive a paperless W-2 through CEC will have view-only access. Printed 2025 W-2s will be mailed on or before January 31, 2026. MPP and Executive employees will receive a separate communication with additional context specific to that employee group.
As a reminder, CEC is the employee self-service portal available to all active CSU employees. This secure platform allows employees to view, print, and electronically save their W-2s and direct-deposit earnings statements, update tax withholdings and enroll or make changes to direct deposit through the State Controller’s Office. The next opportunity to enroll in W-2 paperless will be February 1, 2026. To register, please visit: Cal Employee Connect.
