TO: Campus Community
FR: Ed Beebout, Chair, Art, Media and Communication Department

Sonoma State students, faculty, and staff have the opportunity to take part in an exciting art project today and on Wednesday, December 3. Titled "Eye to Eyes," this joint project between photographer Jock McDonald and the Sonoma Museum highlights some of the many faces that make up the Sonoma County community.

This exhibition, set to debut in 2027, will feature 1,000 portraits of Sonoma County locals telling the stories of our neighbors and highlighting those living in our community. The visit to the SSU campus is co-sponsored by the College of Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts and the Department of Art, Media, and Communication. To take part, come to the Sprinter van photo lab parked on the west side of Salazar Hall between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Each portrait will take about 20 minutes. Your portrait, your story, OUR HUMANITY! Come be THE ART!
