(Rohnert Park) — With a goal of overseeing and advancing Sonoma State’s stepped-up commitment to sustainability and building resilience, the newly formed President’s Sustainability Advisory Council convened its first meeting on Oct. 26.

Sonoma State University moved up five spots to No. 14 on U.S. News and World Report’s list of “Top Public Schools” in the Western Region for 2019-20. The university was ranked No. 19 in the same listing for 2018. 

Sonoma State President Judy K. Sakaki and members of her Cabinet were on hand this week to welcome nearly 2,000 students as they moved to campus and began a new academic year.

(Rohnert Park) – Sonoma State University will host a joint hearing of the California Assembly and Senate Select Committees on the wine industry on Friday, June 28 at the Wine Spectator Learning Center. The meeting will begin at 1:30 p.m. and is open to the public.
