Sonoma State University’s Center of Ethics Law, and Society Forum addresses moral and legal issues that arise in the ever-modernizing world. This year's forum features lectures that answer questions from topics like free speech and immigration enforcement in the new political climate, the job insecurity of taxi drivers in an Uber world, to the vast change in the earth's oceans.
The lectures conclude with the presentations from the winners of the Warren Court Prize, an essay contest for students on matters of Ethics, Justice, or Constitutional Law winner on Nov. 28. Student essay submissions can start being turned in on Sept. 29 with the deadline for the contest ending on Oct. 24.
All lectures are on Tuesdays from noon to 12:50 p.m. in Stevenson 1002. This series of events is produced with the generous support of SSU Instructionally Related Activities.
