“Barking Up the Wrong Tree:” SSU alumna’s dog research featured in New York Times
SSU alumna Holly Molinaro and her doctoral research are featured in “Think you understand your dog? Think again,” an article published in The New York Times March 10.
“When it comes to just perceiving dog emotions, we think we know what’s happening, but we’re actually subconsciously relying on a lot of other factors,” she said.
Molinaro, who graduated from Sonoma State with a master’s degree in biology, is now a doctoral student at Arizona State University and is the first author of the new paper, published in the journal Anthrozoös on March 10.
