The Visiting Artist Lecture Series Comes to Schroeder Hall
The Visiting Artists Lecture Series at Sonoma State University provides students and the local community with valuable insight and exposure from art professionals and their work. The series includes a special lecture by the duo Anne Beck and Michelle Wilson who will talk about their "Rhinoceros Project," which is desgined to bring awareness to the extinction of the Northern White Rhinoceros. Beck and Wilson will hold a sewing circle and print and paper making sessions in addition to their lecture. All the lectures will end with a Q&A session.
All lectures are free and open to the public. The series runs on Wednesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in Schroeder Hall. Admission is free, parking on campus is $5-$8. The Visiting Artist Lecture Series is supported in part through grants from the Instructionally Related Activities Fund of Sonoma State University.
