Virtual post-election poll designed by SSU professor Richard Hertz and grad students

Working in partnership with KRCB/California Public Media and The Press Democrat, SSU professor Richard Hertz and graduate students in the master’s in Public Administration program designed and ran a virtual post-election poll.

Nearly 3,000 people responded, and the results were analyzed and published in two Press Democrat stories – one on the nation’s presidential election and one focused on Sonoma County’s Measure J.

On Monday, November 25 at 6 p.m., Press Democrat Executive Editor Chris Fusco will moderate a free virtual event called “Unpacking the Ballot,” to discuss why races broke the way they did and discuss the results of the poll.
