CSU Releases RFP
April 6, 2012

Cal State Online is a CSU sponsored initiative that seeks to address California's expanding workforce needs and to provide increased individual access to high quality undergraduate and graduate education opportunities via the Internet and online learning opportunities.

A special Technology Steering Committee came together with Richard Katz and the Online Working Group (OWG) Chair in June 2011 for an in depth discussion of Cal State Online learning priorities, goals, guiding principles, proposed structure, programs, and proposed timeline (for more information you can go to: TSC Initiative Overview: Cal State Online).

Following an input process from the CSU campuses, Cal State Online has developed and issued an RFP to gather bids for providing the Learning and Management System (LMS) for Cal State Online.
