Dr. Ayesha Rabadi-Raol from Early Childhood Studies presented at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) Conference in Philadelphia April 11-14. In addition to giving a research presentation in a Vice Presidential Session and being an invited panelist for the Graduate Student Advising Council, she presented “Disrupting Eurocentric Norms: Centering BIPOC Voice in Early Childhood Teacher Education” with a team of three SSU students: Vic Vaswani, Celia Salazar, and Lauren (LJ) Cooper. This collaborative mentoring and research presentation was made possible by the Koret Scholars Program, Dean Laura Alamillo, and the School of Education.
